Is it hard to change my ceramic kiln into a glass kiln? I know I can use it and I do for glass, but I want to get a digital controller, can I change that from the cone thingy??

I added copper wire in order to hang my fused glass but it comes out of the kiln rusty. What is the best way to get it back to its lovely copper colour?

Puddles (2)

I’m about to embark on the second firing of some ‘puddles’ – have just read that I shouldn’t use kiln paper and should prime the shelves instead – just wanted to check, does it really make a difference to the spread of the glass?

I looked at the firing schedule for both projects and tried to combine them into the most conservative schedule to accommodate both. Can I do this? Does the more conservative schedule required by the 10 x 10” piece mean I can’t fire the puddle squares at the same time?
